M-000.22.502 [2023-07] Brewery water – Total viable count per ml on universal culture medium

Application/Purpose

The test is used to check the hygienic conditions of the plant (water samples). For this purpose, 1 ml of the water sample is incubated in pour-plate cultures at 20 ± 2 °C for 2–4 days. The colony count is defined as the number of colonies visible at 6 to 8x magnification.
