New Member – Dipl.-Ing. Michael Wöß

At the 99th plenary meeting of the Central European Brewing Technology Analysis Commission (MEBAK) e.V. on October 21, 2022, Michael Wöß was accepted as a full member.

Michael Wöß learned the profession of brewer and maltster in his Lower Bavarian home at the Irlbach Castle Brewery. He then studied brewing and beverage technology at the Technical University of Munich - Weihenstephan, graduating with a Master of Science degree.

Since 2018, he has been working at Malzfabrik Mich. Weyermann® GmbH & Co. KG. As a customer consultant, he was initially responsible for breweries in southern Germany and Austria. Since 2020, he has been head of the Research and Development department at Weyermann®.

His current focus is on both new product development and process optimization. Here, of course, the topic of sustainability also plays a decisive role.

The MEBAK members are pleased to welcome Mr. Wöß to their circle of experts.
