The following artificial sweeteners are used in reduced-calorie, non-alcoholic beverages made with a base of fruit juice and can be found in the guidelines for sweeteners (VO 1333/2008 EG):

cyclohexane sulfamic acid (cyclamate):	max. 250 mg/l
aspartame:	max. 600 mg/l
saccharin:	max. 80 mg/l
acesulfame K:	max. 350 mg/l
neohesperidin dihydrochalcone:	max. 30 mg/l
sucralose:	max. 300 mg/l

A maximum concentration of 50 mg/l of neohesperidin dihydrochalcone is allowed to flavor beverages based on milk and milk derivatives.

In Germany, sweeteners are subject to the regulations regarding additives in food.
